The organisers do not see your facebook message enquiry asking for food vendor applications – they just get an email from admin for
“another food van”… not sure which show, not sure what they are selling and have no idea if they need electricity or not.
We receive between 10 and 20 Food Stall enquiries PER WEEK.
PLEASE – if you would like a food stall EMAIL US.. stating WHICH event you are interested in.
Charges for stands range from $550 – $990 + electricity connections.
Send a Picture of your food van, (and dimensions so we know how much space you need)
Send a complete list of what food and drink you want to serve. Ie: If you are a barbecue pork bun stand and sell slushies on the side – make sure Slushies are included on your list. (there are exclusivity agreements on some items so we need to know ALL food and drinks)
We also need the prices of your items. Check our reviews with customers spitting at us because some food vans have charged $8 for a stale bun and Frankfurt or priced Loaded Spuds at $16 and tried charging $5 for a bottle of water. Unfortunately, it is our Brand that get’s slandered in public if people are unhappy with the food and the pricing – NOT your food Van.
Asking for a cheap $75 – $95 connection to a 10amp plug to run your cold room, 5 blenders and a chip fryer is not efficient. Every year food vans short out our electricity because they have not noted each and every electricity requirement and we are getting strict about it as a result.
Ordering 2 electricity points and hooking up 5 will result in us turning off all your power completely for the duration of the show and no refund on your site.
Be upfront about your electricity needs.
If need be – order 3 and only use 2 – we can always refund you.
